Adelaide Presents: Creating Psychologically Safe Workplaces
Join us for a focused, in‑person presentation in Adelaide where we explore one of the most critical (and often under‑recognised) aspects of workplace health and safety: psychosocial safety.
Time & Location
05 Feb 2026, 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm AEST
CQUniversity, 44 Greenhill Rd, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia
About the event
Anna Beaumont will be facilitating a presentation with her co-host Jenny Podorozhnaya, who will lead a thought‑provoking session on what it really means to create workplaces where psychological health and wellbeing are prioritised.
Workplace safety isn’t just about physical hazards. Psychosocial hazards, such as excessive job demands, unclear roles, poor support, unfair treatment, and workplace harassment, can have profound effects on mental health, emotional well‑being, and even physical health.
As safety professionals, organisations and leaders have an important role to play in identifying and managing these risks—ensuring all workers feel safe, supported, and valued.
What you’ll gain
A deeper understanding of psychosocial hazards and how they differ from traditional safety risks.
Insights into the impact of psychosocial risks on mental and physical health, employee wellbeing, engagement and safety culture.
