About the event

Jo Mason is a senior professional and social entrepreneur who has over 10 year’s experience in leadership roles across the private, not for profit and government sectors. She is also an accredited coach and domestic violence survivor.

Jo understands the importance of a supportive workplace to help people who are impacted by DFV navigate through and beyond their situation. This understanding led Jo to co-found WorkHaven, an organisation that supports organisations to take a meaningful and effective approach to DFV.

For the last five years, Jo has been an ambassador role for Brisbane Domestic Violence Service and consulted with community organisations and government to educate others about DFV and provide input to recent reforms. She also developed the program “Fresh Start for Me” program to support DFV survivors to rebuild their lives and thrive.

Jo is a passionate advocate for the prevention of DFV, who believes that understanding and connection are key to make a difference.

Join us in this workshop to ensure the support mechanisms as well as the risks of DFV in your workplace are well covered.
