Masterclass | Legislative framework driving contractor management

The proper management of contractors forms a critical aspect of PCBUs obligations to ensure the health and safety of people in the workplace. The practical implementation of this can however, be fraught with complexity and challenges. Our July Masterclass will discuss the legislative framework driving contractor management behaviours in industry, as well as current and emerging trends in approaches. Our panelists will share some of their first-hand experiences of the issues and successes of managing contractors, as well as a discussion of, as female safety professionals, their shared experiences in navigating the often male-dominated site environments where high risk activities necessitate a strong contractor management framework.
