About the event

Madeline Sprajcer is a Senior Lecturer at CQ University. Her research focuses on managing workplace fatigue in safety critical industries, unpredictable and non-standard working time arrangements, and sleep psychology in vulnerable populations.


Since completing her PhD in 2019, she has published >60 peer-reviewed papers and authored more than 70 industry reports that have directly informed policy across sectors such as aviation, spaceflight, healthcare, and transportation. Her work has been cited by major organisations like the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the European Economic and Social Committee, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, among others. 


At the core of her research is a commitment to creating real-world impact - helping industries optimise their policies and practices to improve worker health, safety, and productivity.
