Finding my Y @ the YWCA!

I have recently been selected as the 2017/18 board intern for the Queensland branch of YWCA. The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Founded in 1858 (yes 1858, a time where women may not have ever thought they could have equal rights or feel empowered)…they have gone from strength to strength to now being at the forefront of what I consider an absolute critical movement for women globally. Some of the programs that I am excited to learn more about is the ‘Every Girl’ program.
